EXECUTIVE BOARD

Sergio R. Sison III is a fourth year student majoring in Kinesiology. Initially, he wanted to pursue a career in sports performance, but pivoted to Physical Therapy after gaining experience as a PT Tech. He enjoys collaborating with others and working with a variety of patients within the clinic. Some of his interests include weightlifting, calisthenics, and playing basketball. One of his major goals as president is to enhance member engagement through hands on activities during meetings.

Valerie Hanson is a second year student majoring in Applied Health Sciences. She discovered her love for physical therapy after watching her dad’s successful journey with PT for his shoulder during her freshman year of high school. Outside of class, you will find her sewing, reading, or at the gym. Valerie aspires help members explore different specialties in physical therapy and help first year students get the resources they need to navigate the path to physical therapy school.

Chloe Deiter is a second-year student majoring in kinesiology. Chloe’s love for movement, dance and exercise is what led her to pursue a career in physical therapy for dancers. Some of her interests include, going to the gym, running, and dancing. As secretary, she will keep track of member involvement and help find new opportunities for aspiring physical therapists. 

Joseph is a second year student majoring in accounting. He wants to contribute to LKD by providing the financial tools for the club to help as many future physical therapists as possible. In his free time, he loves to play basketball, watch movies, and code.

Jaeger McBride is a second-year student majoring in Kinesiology. He loves to hike in his free time, and also enjoys weight lifting, running, and playing pool. Jaeger’s passion for fitness and desire to help others become their best selves led him to pursue physical therapy. Similarly, this desire inspired him to become LKD’s chair of philanthropy, with the intent of helping pre-PT students find shadowing and volunteer opportunities to expand both their applications and perspectives.

Anthony Amsterdam is a second-year student majoring in Kinesiology. His passion for sports like soccer, hockey, and running have all shaped his interest in the human body and medical field. Drawn to the field of Physical Therapy, Anthony values the opportunity to help patients heal and return to doing the things they enjoy as well as working with a variety of diverse patient groups. As Chair of Marketing, he will ensure to maintain LKD’s website in an organized manner, updating the gallery and calendar.

Jaden is a UNLV Biology graduate passionate about pursuing a career in physical therapy. Dedicating much of his undergrad volunteering with student organizations focusing on the medical and healthcare fields, his interest in PT stemmed from a desire to understand how physical movement and rehabilitation support healthier living. He is currently accumulating observation hours in various PT disciplines. In his free time, Jaden enjoys going to the gym, traveling, and studying art and anatomy.
